VIDEO DEPOSITION CERTIFICATION
Although a certification in legal videography is not yet
required, Digital Take remains a certified member in
good standing because we are committed to quality and
have proven results. The legal certification gives extra
insurance to hiring attorneys that their videographer
will be professional, follow standard protocols, and
will conduct each deposition in accordance with Rule 30b
of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and the Federal
Rules of Evidence.
CHOOSING A DEPOSITION VIDEOGRAPHER
To assist you in selecting a legal videographer for your
case, we are always willing to come to your office and
discuss your needs. We will also be able to tell
you more about what we have to offer, the type of
equipment we use, and the standard procedures we follow.
This is often helpful for counselors who have not had
much experience with videotaping depositions or if it
has been a long time since participating in a
deposition.
This is also helpful for the more experienced attorneys
who have not yet worked with a Digital Take legal
videographer. By having a pre-deposition meeting,
we can learn what is most important to you and what you
expect when we have at the deposition. This is
also important for out of state attorneys, since video
deposition practices do vary slightly from state to
state.
